Understanding the pathway
We help athletes and families learn about citizenship and passport documentation, federation registration, trials, and the official national-team selection process.
PH Global Jiu-Jitsu exists to help Filipino jiu-jitsu athletes worldwide understand and pursue the pathway to representing the Philippines while building a connected global community.
We help athletes and families understand Philippine citizenship requirements, federation registration, national-team trials, and the official selection process.
Through our developing virtual academy, we aim to unite Filipino athletes across borders, support their connection to their existing academies, and pursue affiliation with the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines (JJFP).
Our goal is to build an organized community through which overseas Filipino athletes can participate, share their experiences, and have a meaningful voice in Philippine jiu-jitsu alongside locally based academies.
We help athletes and families learn about citizenship and passport documentation, federation registration, trials, and the official national-team selection process.
We share information and guidance so overseas Filipino athletes can prepare to pursue opportunities through the appropriate official channels.
We connect Filipino athletes, families, coaches, and academies across borders through shared heritage and a passion for jiu-jitsu.
We are developing a virtual membership academy and pursuing JJFP affiliation so overseas athletes can participate as an organized community and have their perspectives heard.
Members continue training with their own coaches and academies. PH Global complements those relationships; it does not seek to replace them.
We highlight the experiences and achievements of Filipino athletes worldwide to inspire others to explore their own opportunities.
PH Global Jiu-Jitsu is an independent community initiative. We are not a government agency, the JJFP, or the Jiu-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF). JJFP academy affiliation is a goal, not a current accreditation or a guarantee of voting or other federation rights.
We respect the eligibility requirements, trials, and national-team selection decisions established by the appropriate governing bodies. We do not determine eligibility, conduct official selection, or guarantee national-team placement.
We seek to participate constructively in Philippine jiu-jitsu—not challenge or replace existing academies, coaches, or selection procedures. We believe connecting overseas athletes with information, relationships, and a shared voice can contribute to the sport's continued growth.
